La Chapelle is situated in the peaceful hamlet of Ecorsaint (approx 45 minutes west of Dijon) in the heart of the burgundian countryside. There are no shops or cafes in the hamlet but both are just a 10 minute drive away. La Chapelle is at one end of the hamlet with a courtyard to the front. To the side is an old priory which once housed the local chapel (during the 12th century) giving the property it's name. La Chapelle comfortably sleeps 4 although it's also ideal for 2.
Up a few steps and through the front door you enter the sunny, spacious double aspect kitchen/salon with dining facilities. The room has french windows leading to the private terrace at the back of the house. The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker (gas hob), toaster and microwave. The salon area has comfortable seating with a TV receiving 3 French channels, a DVD and video player. There is an extremely effective woodburning stove and central heating is provided throughout the house. The washing machine is under the cottage in the cellar.
Off one side of the main room is a double bedroom with an ensuite shower room. There is adequate storage and hanging space. Off the other side of the main room is a second bedroom with twin beds and storage space. There is another bathroom with shower and bath leading off the kitchen. Both bathrooms are newly installed.
Prices are per week and include linen (beds are made up), towels & all other charges.
